Nutrient Content of Cowpea



- Mostly all part of Vigna unguiculata is used due to rich in nutrient.

- For instance, its leaves, pods, immature seeds and the mature dried seeds.

- While it stem, leaves and vines are used for animal feeding.

- Particularly in Malaysia many recipe were establish which involving the Vigna unguiculata.

- For example: fried cowpeas with egg, cowpeas with tempe, cowpeas with shrimp, cowpeas with soy sauce and etc.
